Dallas Famous Podcast

On Air Host, Andrew Sherman

Sunday 1pm CT

Tuesday 1pm CT (Encore)

Andrew is a Dallas transplant and has always been in pursuit of art as a career.  Andrew Sherman found his calling in Dallas,Texas behind the lens.

He has shot bands from Sting and the Eagles to local bands you haven't even heard of YET, and everything in between.  Andrew spent most of his adult life in Los Angeles where he pursued music and acting. He was also a part of Andy Dick and the Bitches of the Century (led by the group’s namesake member, Andy Dick).

In 2016 Andrew took a few video editing classes at community College and landed a gig as the editor of the Chevy Music Showcase. An introduction to video editing, the opportunity also opened his eyes to the Texas music scene.

Andrew moved to Dallas, bought a camera, and has now become one of Dallas’ oft-published music photographers in local media. Andrew is the house photographer for Deep Ellum Art Company and is a regular contributor to the Dallas Observer. Andrew also produced the Lone Sound Magazine podcast for two years but wanted to get on the mic. Dallas Famous is a part tongue-in-cheek but an all earnest pursuit to get to know some of the people who make Dallas great. Follow @drewliophoto
